Who We Are
Tru Women in Computer Science (TWiCS) is a peer support group for women interested in Computer Science at Truman State University. Each meeting offers the opportunity to build friendships with women facing the same issues and provides for tutoring in Computer Science subjects.
What We Do
Each semester, TWiCS invites speakers to share their experiences and other information relevant to the advancement of Truman women in the Computer Sciences field. TWiCS also serves as a valuable resource for women interested in entering the Computer Science field. Members are able to build their resume through participation in national and local computing Conferences and other events.
Cable Fundraiser
During Truman Week, TWiCS raises money by selling network and TV cables. Come see us on Move-In Day in Centennial Hall or Dobson Hall, or order a cable online for delivery direct to your residence hall room!
